Students investigate and model real-life scenarios that involve parabolas.
Students ‘play‘ and have fun as they grow in their digital literacy and utilise this to investigate mathematical models.
Students reflect upon:
- Parabolic patterns built into creation.
- Algorithms in society applied to the context that wonders whether you should earn a heap of money (like Michael Jordan) just for doing a repetitive task (i.e., a task so basic that a robot can be programmed to do it!).
What do parabolas (or the fact that parabolas describe so many things) tell us about God/ourselves?
“The fact that there is an abundance of parabolas in nature and the rule is built into things like the flight of projectiles, this points to an intelligent design of the universe by a creative being, or in other words, it points to the God of the Christian bible”.

but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
