The teacher outline shows teachers how to frame this unit of work from a biblical perspective using “The Big Picture” concepts outlined in the book Transformation by Design. There are big ideas, curriculum ties, and key activities that help students understand the purpose of their learning.
These framing activities will help you with the language to use throughout the unit and help you authentically answer the question, “Why are we doing this topic of work?”
Patterns can be described using words and then translated into algebraic language. This algebraic language is written into every piece of technology that we use in the world today!
We need God’s wisdom to ensure technology is used for good in our communities.
Students consider how technologies can be created, wisely utilised, and enjoyed, as humans live in community, serve each other, do the works that they were created for (Eph. 2:10), and rule under the Lordship of Christ.
“So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
